So now the man with many screen names ruined this thread,,,oh well by the way if it is Marrow. I WILL CANCEL MY PENGUIN CLUB MEMBERSHIP. That by far isn't the answer ...we already had a so called big time recruiter with no HC experience and wasn't even in charge of the O or D. I would of stuck with Wolford...Honestly I think having a local guy isn't that big a deal...we need a guy that can recruit our base and Florida and have some good coaching contacts for transfers. The Mooney Connection is far overated and shows how the good ol boy network is in coaching. Stoops brothers lost more big games than they won...Pellini is another Wolford couldn't win the big game and his bro has less than desirable when it comes to character. So lets find a different Tree...

Would i like us to move up ...hell ya...but not happening without some big money boosters. Covelli gave what 10 mil to Ohio St. We dont have enough wealth in this area that has money to throw around. I have suggested to change our Name to NORTH East Ohio University so we could capitalize on a bigger market for $$$$.

Sad everybody wanted the Wolf out and now if true the so called frontrunner handpicked by a legend is a bad choice, Are we that stupid? Everybody wants a local guy even if substandard like Shepas the guy at Mt Union etc and the better recruit the area too when the area can't produce it. Laughable

I feel bad that a local guy, couldnt get it done. He was a deadman walking as soon as Tressel got hired. As for the players I would of expected them to be upset. I hope Brian Wright isnt the top candidate. He was the master of the non adjustment down and out offense

WKBN had posted that no decison was made yet on their facebook link..somebody posted that they hoped Dan Rivers wouldnt waste 3 Hrs on something that so few show up at the games. She even spelled Penguins with a q. ...That says it all. Youngstown St as an institution of higher learning Nationally recognized is not thought of highly in the community.

I think Montgomery is a disappointment the last 2 yrs. He rarely made adjustments and for the love of Pete never could get plays in quick enough. He cost Wells a RS yr in my opinion when we had nothing after Hess. He is responsible for the recruitment of the QB's.
