Seemed high to me as well.  Here are some links to the number.  the first one is the Spokane paper and is probably the best source.  I don't know if the others simply come from that
Thanks for posting these.  It must be legit.  Why won't Akron or Toledo pay us that kind of money?  We would bring a whole lot more fans than EWU or JMU.

Small testicles.  That is why.  The MAC has very ver very small testicles.

Funny, very true and funny!

This topic is as regular as my Aunt Betty.

Certainly playing the teams that are in the MAC would be great, close enough so that fans could travel, we know these teams, we can relate to them, a lot more fan interest. Sure there are some minor issues like where do we get the extra money and that may be possible to overcome. BUT and may I repeat BUT the major problem is that they do not want us. Plain and simple.

I do not care for our current league, it is a pretty good league with some great programs. We are also a great program but the schools are just too far away. The Dakotas play some good ball but really, who cares! NDSU played in two title games and I had no interest in watching.

OVC would be a little better, closer schools but not playing at the same level overall.

CAA - I could live with that, tough league, not all but more schools closer to us.

Independent - been there done that. Times have changed so I am not sure this is an option anymore. Would have to play two money games and the non-schollies and then hope to get some nice home and home with several FCS schools.

Ok, so what is it going to take to find out what happened? Why the big secret? If you know the truth speak up!

The point you bring up that is a dead ringer for me is the fact that Wolfords teams are not resilient.  The get defeated mentally in games and then they can't recover for a few games.  I don't understand that.  Where is the mental toughness?  Where are the players that are stubborn, headstrong, and persistent to the point where the coach would have to tell them the score becuase they are so focused on each play?  We have one or two bad breaks and the wind comes out of the sails.  Pisses me off.

It is clear to me that the team was deflated after play NDSU last year.  We need to shake this loss off and get it together.

I Agree

I know this may be a little premature but is it possible that NDSU makes a quick jump to FBS? They have the resources and are certainly very marketable at this time.  Does anyone else think its possible that the MAC comes calling?

No.

My lord what a bunch of negative Nellie's. We got our butts kicked, it's over, move on.

Time will tell how the regular season ends up, I'm guessing somewhere between 2-10 and 11-1. There will always be room for improvement, time will tell how well we do.

Get behind the team and get your butts in the seats on Saturday.

Game played out as it should have. Kudos to Morehead for giving it their best. Their fans were classy, no bad eggs. Hope that their QB is ok that was a nice hit. Lots of players got some playing time so that is good. Thought that our second team D could have done better. Weather was great so we should have had more at the game, does not matter who we played should have been more. Thought that the student section bailed out early, most gone by 4th qtr.

That looks great. :)  Does anyone think that we can some day get rid of those old bleachers?  I would really like to see permanent seating, with concrete forms and theater type chairs.  But I would settle for collapsible red seats extending all the way up.  The bleachers were a necessity four decades ago when the building was all we had for physical education.  Now with the Watts and the enormous gym under the stadium, we don't need roll-back bleachers in Beeghly any longer.

I agree

One problem I have with the crowd..... MOVE THE STUDENTS TO THE HOME SIDE. That really irritates me

Why, I love that they are right behind the bad guys let them taunt. Also keeps the opposing fans from getting close to their team.

Hess was bad. He never had it tonight. Bellamy looked very good. That was the big time D1 recruit we expected to see 3 years ago. Glad he is finally healthy.

Defense was the story of the night. They were pretty darn good with great pressure on the Dayton QB,  a couple of interceptions, and a couple of sacks. Rush defense is stout and the pass defense held its own and had numerous pass breakups. When Peterman comes back, it will be better.

At the end of the day we won 28-10 despite having four turnovers. Dayton really only sustained one real long drive all night and that was when they scored the TD. They should win 6-7 games this year.

Eliminate the turnovers and get Hess' head out of his you know what before this Morehead State game.

Not the performance we wanted to see, but numerous weaknesses were exposed in game 1 that can be fixed. Lets see how this staff responds.

I dont care how the front 7 looked, no matter what happened theres absolutley nothing you can get a read on about the front 7 after tonight, Dayton has an OL smaller then some HS teams around North East Ohio.  If they couldn't dominate then we aren't winning 5 games this year.

I believe that Dayton had 10 senior starters on O. I am not sure how many years they have all played together but a lot of experience none the less.

If only the media made as a big a story out of this as they did his arrest

How true, but that is normal.

LOL, so not a believable story.  So were the Girard charges dropped too or is there another family member pretending to be him! :-)

Glass half empty.
