Down 5 at half.  We're giving Kent too many free throws. Cam and Hartfield are combined 6 of 24.  Tyree getting 2 fouls early hurt.   Played 12 guys so far.

This team is gonna be really fun to watch. Lots of excitement but gotta cut down on the fouls and need to rebound better.

Can't have 6-5 Robinson trying to guard a 7 footer. Calhoun has to make a change in the starting lineup. That will not work the rest of the year.

weare down well below 30% shooting in the second half. only 34.8% in the frist halk with a 3-9 free throw record. These guys need to make baskets. Kent is playing terribly and pulling away.

At least they show enthusiasm and there's some excitement. Complete 180 from Jerry's tenure.

Turnovers and bad shooting is leading to a lay up line for Kent.  The press is getting shredded.

Knew there'd be growing pains early on.

That was embarrassing .  Long season ahead and hopefully this is bad as it gets.

Came out and played hard for about 18 mins or so.  Kent State seemed to be getting frustrated & were out-hustled early.  That run at the end of the 1st half by Kent State turned the tide.  I thought there were some opportunities in the first half to build a lead, but couldn't get the bounces to go our way and the continued horrid free throw shooting.

The 2nd half felt like a D1 team playing a D2 team.  YSU looked gassed.  I really didn't understand the continued full court press the 2nd half when it was clear they were beating us down the court & yielding layups and dunks one after another.  Outside of the Ohio State game last year, that's the worst defeat since some blowout Horizon League losses late 2 years ago.  Santiago not at 100% really hurt & it looked like Ferguson took a shot to the face the first half & didn't play after that.
