  The next time we are in the market for a new head b- ball coach ( next year ) we should let the ad at
Robert Morris make the selection for us. That is the difference between our program and theirs. They consistently have better coaches who can recruit.

Ysu has 4 legitimate d1 players on the team; perry, Allen, brooks, and eargle. The rest are d2 and d3 players at best. Akron had d1 players coming off the bench! Total mismatch. Eargle was our only presence in the paint with no help from the bench. We pretty much were limited to shooting 3 pointers all night! Pathetic!! And when
we had an opportunity to shoot foul shots which very limited because we don't challenge anyone to guard us we couldn't make them!! Absolutely pathetic!!! I will now attempt to put this game behind me!

We are not interested in basketball ysu!!! I would suggest the PAC as conference more suitable for our
level of commitment to our program. I hope I did't offend any PAC supporters by saying that!!

Thanks AA! I respect your analysis and I will not split hairs with you. We are all Penguins at heart and only want ALL our programs to succeed but you analysis also supports the basis of my argument. That the football program supports all the sports at YSU unless you believe a revenue to expense difference of  $200,000 supports our athletic budget.

There are several financial statement available online which are part of althletic dept fillings to the NCAA
which show that our football program does not make money. Also shows that none of our programs make money. Its only the student activity fees that bring our athletic budget into the black. Earliest statements are from 2004. Latest is 2008.

Hey EL. We will never see the penguins in the tournament. To get to the tournament we have to win our conference championship. We will never win that championship. We are at best a middle of the road team in the conference and unfortunately don't seem to care to much about improving that situation. A rescent article in the vindy stated that Akron puts more money into their women's program than we put into our men's tells you the trajectory our men's program is on. BTW I am tired of hearing about football funding all our programs. Football looses money. All our programs loose money. Its the student fees that keep our programs solvent.

Hey Pride Kyle Randall is the kid from Kennedy who went to UNC Greensboro. He is doing OK at Greenboro but not sure he would improve our guard play. We do have two pretty good kids at that position and they are freshman and sophmore. Marsall Holden was Kyles running mate at guard for a couple of years at Kennedy. He finally graduated from Farrell. He is currently at San Jacinto JC. I honestly don't know if we tried to recruit either one. We did recruit Blair Rosenblad who was an upperclass team mate of both at Kennedy.
