I suspect Coach Pelini is a Manchurian candidate tasked with insuring that Cardinal Mooney is the best football program in Youngstown!

Not familiar to restrictions applied to affiliate or associate membership but many schools take advantage of those opportunities. For example Notre Dame in addition to there limited association with the ACC is an associate member of the Big10 in hockey and Johns Hopkins is a Big10 member for Lacrosse.

It’s not POLITICAL CORRECTNESS! It’s the law!

Can we just be thankful YSU is adding sports while many schools are eliminating sports. Lacrosse is a growing sports in Ohio and throughout the Midwest while being entrenched on the east coast. There is a wealth of excellent high school players looking to continue playing in college.

As you two argue ad infinitum about who is responsible for ysu's sports resurgent you missed that
our tennis team lost 4-0 to Michigan. I believe that was the topic of the thread. Remember!!

I suspect the difference is between being "weeded" out by the local authorities or by a ncaa administered
screening.

With about 8 minutes remaining we built a 10 point lead by running a very effective weave which was causing all kinds of problems for greenbay. We then changed to our very generic non offense we usually run. We were now playing not to loose. We scored 3 pts in the last 8 min helped of course by several turnovers. This team is not good enough to play not to loose. Very frustrating loss!!

Hard to play the school snob game when you list Morehead St. and Xavier as your universities!

If you read the plain dealer article about her release from her LOI she had know idea where she would go to school! Lie #3! She had plans on visiting 3 schools! Lie # 4. OU was the first school she visited. Bolden just happened to have one scholarship available and he offered it to her ! Lie # 5. It was a done deal before she got there! Finally she changed her academic interests so it was about more than basketball! Lie # 6! Btw I am glad we take the high road on situation like this. If they don't want to be here I don'twant  them! That being said here's hoping the bobcats go 0-30! :-))
