Only two true freshmen on the depth chart. That is a monumental improvement from Wolford's first season. I was also surprised to see D'Alesio back at safety. But Wolford and the new dc must be stressing that work ethic and the self-discipline to perform assignments outweigh pedigree. Perhaps the same can be said about Pace on the offensive side of the ball. And that is fine with me.
I think Wolford became tired of losing players with the "best-player-plays" atmosphere of the past couple of seasons. Even a peewee coach knows that is backwards. You will NEVER be able to keep recruits ...at least the ones worth keeping. So when you see guys like Sharbaugh, Radakovich, Main, Sinko, Shaw, or Pace ...tip your hat to them and thank them for their efforts.
Being a player means teaching others, kicking in on special teams, giving up playing time every now and then. This gives me hope for the program. I have some good feelings about this year!
Wolf said that Peterman had 2 A's in classes during summer so well see. He's a great athlete
A refugee from a Big Time program, Davis came to campus with a clear and unobstructed path to success. The corners suffered from injuries and inexperience. All he had to do was win his position and help to improve the defense. He could not do that. By the end of the season, he was not even starting. Now, after evaluating him during the spring, the new defensive coordinator had him buried on the depth chart. It is best that he moves on. This is yet another reminder that Big Time programs make recruiting mistakes and that many transfers never cut it.
Interesting comments from Strollo when he says the soccer field will be used mainly for intermural sports? That's kind of weird to me. I'm guessing it won't be that big then. Just seems weird to me. Why build a soccer field if it's only mainly gonna be used for intermural sports, seems like a waste of money.
Coach T will always be remembered to for what you see in that video. I do not know of anyone that sees him as a liar or a cheater ...in Ytown or Columbus. Now being a Zip holds a bad taste in my mouth
Ok...why is he not still at OSU? If you polled 100 college football fans, 80 say he's a cheater & liar. He's been doing so since he was rigging raffles at youth football camps in his OSU assistant days. Win at all costs is his motto
What is your point?
If you polled 100 college football fans 85% would say EVERY coach is a cheater and a liar.
The media control what people believe. Especially "single issue" people. If the media did not control the masses belief system how in the world could a pathological narcissist even have a snowball's chance in hell of being re-elected?
