Mistreanu is the first Penguin in school history to be a two-time first-team All-Horizon League selection. This year he was 5-1 in Horizon League play at the No. 1 spot. His lone loss was to League Player of the Year, Michael Tenzer of Green Bay. Overall at No. 1 singles this spring, Mistreanu was 11-6.
Hagn, a transfer from USF, played primarily at the No. 2 spot in the Penguins' dual lineup this spring. In Horizon League play he was 3-3 while posting a 10-10 dual mark. Also for his efforts, he was named second-team all-league. He is the first YSU men's tennis player to be named since Seth Banks in 2002.
The Penguins dropped their opening match against Detroit this morning at the Horizon League Championships.
