Penguins Pick Up Third Straight Win Beating IPFW

Rodrigo Campos won the clinching match for the Penguins. With YSU leading 3-2, Campos disptached of IPFW's Jonathan Rea 6-4, 6-4 to give YSU its fourth point of the dual.
YSU (3-3) came out strong winning two of three doubles points to grab a 1-0 lead over the Mastodons.
The Penguins won the first two completed singles matches as Silviu Mistreanu knocked off Daniel King 7-6, 6-2 at No. 1 and Sebastian Hagn beat Andres Cobos 7-6, 6-0 at No. 2.
Then IPFW won the next two singles matches as Connor Andrews rallied to down the Penguins' Zeeshan Ismail 5-7, 6-2, 6-3 and Joao Frietas beat Felipe Rosa 6-3, 6-3.
Campos's decision over Rea clinched the match for the Guins, their third-straight win.
The Penguins return to action on Feb. 27 when they host Dayton at the Boardman Tennis Center. The contest is set to start at noon.
