Rosa Earns Singles, Doubles Win As Penguins Fall to WMU

Rosa dropped his first set 7-5 to Andrew Cahn before rallying to win the second set 6-2. Rosa won the one-set third-set to take the decision.
YSU started the night off strong by winning the doubles point. Sebastian Hagn and Dawoud Kabli beat Nadin Indre and Ruben Greiner 8-6 at No. 1 doubles while Rosa and Silviu Mistreanu won 8-5 at No. 3.
The Broncos swept the other five singles matches to earn the decision over the Penguins.
The Penguins (0-3) have a busy day on Saturday with two matches. YSU plays both Robert Morris and Chicago State in Fort Wayne, Ind. Western Michigan improves to 8-3 on the year.
