Tressel's beliefs and loyalty was what done in him ,,,he thinks that he can fix the bad apples if you give them the tools to make the right decisons.  ..has anybody listened to the players...even the bad apples said he was a good man.   Meyer, Saban, Carroll, Miles, Stoops.have skeletons and all the big programs have boosters that go overboard...the NCAA is a sham...look at the Auburn situation...with Cam Newton...Boise State, USC, Miami, NC, Colt McCoys wife slipped up and said players were getting stuff at Texas...ESPN...has no creditabilty anymore on how they has trashed the Buckeyes over and over again..but Les Miles gets a free pass at LSU...Kelly at Oregon, Carroll got one as well..Michigan fans have no reason to point fingers remember the fab 5, Rich Rod..its the culture of college athletics and if you don't think its happening at your favorite team you are sadly mistaken.

No comparison between too much stretching at Michigan and what's going on at OsU.  The OsU bball program is the next sport to get exposed in Cbus

For all you Tressel apologists out there, why wasn't he at the game yesterday to celebrate one of his first big achievements with his former players he supposedly cares so much about?  Too busy to show up?

Think you're wrong on that one 21.  He lied to the NCAA several times and withheld info to protect a season.  He brought sanctions to YSU, O$U, and has proven to have turned a blind eye for his entire coaching stint in Cbus.  He knew what he was doing and got caught.  Dirty laundry keeps showing up in Cbus and St Tre$$le knew what was going on the whole time.  Win at all costs is his motto.  He's the main reason O$u's football program is in the crapper right now

sounds like coach has a good chance to be on the sidelines for the gophers to go up to michigan and take back the little brown jug.  go gophers.

Wishing Coach Kill a speedy recovery, but the jug will remain at Schembechler Hall :)

the bottom line is until YSU fires STROLLO we will never see changes in our sports programs.  Let's hire the "VEST" for AD at least he knows how to achieve what we all desire and that is winning sports programs!!

Yea, hire Tre$$le back so he can bring more NCAA sanctions back to YSU.  He's proven he'll win at all costs no matter what rules are broken.  What a fraud

What is Devont'a Davis' status on the defense? I see he is falling on the depth chart and has NO recorded tackles the last two games.... Does it bother anyone else that when Wolford discusses playing on the road in the MVFC it's like a loss is a forgone conclusion?  You would think we were playing in Baton Rouge against LSU......Lastly, maybe Mike Stoops can replace Kravitz as it appears his days are numbered at U of Arizona.

On Stoops, if he doesn't survive at Arizona, do you really think he's going to drop down and come be the D coordinator at a mid tier FCS program after leading a BCS program? I think not

YSURON,

To answer your question, yes.  WFMJ also owns the CW network channel in Youngstown (WBCB), and that channel will carry the game.  It is channel number 14 on Time-Warner cable or 21-2 if you can receive over the air signals with your digital television.

I have TWC and don't see it in the listing Sat. on Ch 14, is it a live broadcast? What channel is MyYTV?

Looks much better size wise on paper.  I'd like to see the D just a bit bigger although that's what Appy St does smaller faster "D" and it gave the Big 10 a "L" :)

Not to disrespect our I-AA comrades, but that was the worst team in Michigan history ...absolutely pitiful. Now I also remember a Penguin team holding the lead against a solid (not great) Penn State club until 1:02 remaining in the first half at Happy Valley. I am hoping for even more in East Lansing this year. We have a former Penguin coach at the helm, and a former Penguin player (son of a former Penguin Head coach) at D coordinator.

Not to turn this into a Michigan-Appy thread, but you're way off there on it being the worst team in Michigan history.  That 2007 Michigan team started the season ranked #5 and finished the season 9-4 after defeating Florida and Heisman winner Tebow in the Cap One Bowl.  Also they were B10 runner-ups.  Now, the last 3 seasons under Rodriguez are up there as the worst in school history.

Funny you bring that up.  Just announced today by the Michigan AD that Michigan-Appy St II will happen 8/30/14

IP, honestly its all about tact..if someone else disagrees with you they are idiots etc..i guess you are getting grumpy in your old age!!! have a awesome 4th!
GO-it has nothing to do with disagreeing with me--disagree all you want. The point is hijacking news threads and legitimate Q&A's with silly, pointless drivel like scheduling Amputee College, or threats from cyber bulies. Why can't there be a news and opinion thread only? Save the SpongeBob quotes for a children's board.

Cyber bully?  It's easy to call people names, which you've done on here for years, but not back it up.  So keep doing it hiding behind your PC.  If the Mods on here did their job, you should have been gone long ago.  You add nothing to this board but constant insults as I've seen you attack many posters several times because you don't agree with their opinion.  We can't help it your life sucks, just don't drag the rest of us down with you
