There are good strength coaches, Bad strength coaches, and Bad strength coaches with big time jobs because of the old boy network. most are the latter, few are the former. LSU gets the top athletes in the top sport, every year regardless of beef o' brady bowl or a National championship, this guy could be in way over his head trying "make" athletes instead of maintaining them. Cochran was guilty of much of the same.
