Yes you did.  :)   Came up in the post game discussion on Valpo

Although this is the confirmation of a "likely" in that thread.
Thanks Indy--didn't know if anyone pays attention to the info!!

Indy----N Perry and Podolsky are now scholarship players. By the way--you were right. The trip to Terre Haute today was insane--even on rt 40

Indy, if we left home at 9 AM, that should put our arrival at 3-3:30. From what you've heard, should this enable us to beat the "rush hour" traffic backups? Thanks.

He played very well against us last year at SDSU. We get them at home in 2 weeks.

IP,

Do you know who we play for the third ooc game next season, along with Pitt and Valpo?

Indy,

I read that too someplace.  Just imagine.  The Pioneer League with an automatic bid into the playoffs. Isn't our esteemed MVFC commissioner still also the boss of the Pioneer League?  Can't you just see her explaining to a 7-4 MVFC team that they must miss the playoffs so that the champion of that junk league can participate.  Twilight zone. :o
Wick---was informed the 3rd non-conference game next year is a home game with Albany. Looks like we might be playing Dayton in 2013 and at Illinois in 2014.

YSU has opened as an 8 1/2 point favorite. Should be one of those 45-41 games with last team with the ball winning.

We play Pitt next year and, as mentioned earlier, Mich St again in 2013. Talks are on with Illinois for 2014.

1AA--we take a little less from Pitt because there is no overnight stay like there is at the other schools.

Thought about this game, but the Friday night kills us.  Was going to take my son out of school early - until he ended up with 4 exams on Friday.  Can't leave Indy at 3 and get there by kickoff.  Will be in front of the TV watching.  Unfortunately Saturday high school cross country in Northern Indiana is going to keep us from getting to Terre Haute.

I will try to remember to post this again later, but for any of you going to Indiana State - add some extra travel time.  I-70 is effectively one long construction zone from just west of the Indy airport to the Illinois State line.  Numerous bridge reconstructions and lots of traffic jams and horror stories about long backups.  The Terre Haute schools have taken all of their buses off of I-70 for athletic travel, etc due to the backups as well as numerous accidents.
Indy--a bunch of us are driving there. Any tips as to where to go once reaching the Indy airport??

Toyin'--a number of us are busing up for the game and are staying at the Lexington Lansing hotel. There is a mini "tailgate" party at the hotel at approx 2:30 PM. Stop if you get the chance.

Good point Guinpen. Where is Akron coming up with the money for a big payout (and they are), especially when their football program is in the sh*tter and hemorrhaging  money left and right??

I said in an earlier post that I thought DuShawn Brooks will be a big key for us this year to replace Sulskis' scoring. Hopefully he takes this momentum forward.
