Joe Tresey's contract has not been renewed.... Current YSU special teams coach and former defensive coordinator at Houston and Vanderbilt Jamie Bryant will be the new DC, per Dana Balash. Joe Scalzo tweeting out that the decision was made right after the season..... Finally some good news!

Senior safety Dinald D'Alesio will miss all of spring practice because of off season shoulder surgery.... Just can't catch a break.

I like the secondary guys we brought in. Will add some depth, some may play a little in nickel and special teams. I expect all the O-Lineman to redshirt except LJ Mosley, who I could see starting at guard. I like the talent at RB, especially since Bellamy and Pace are gone. Lots of speed and athleticism. I also see potential in the LB's, if they redshirt a year and develop could be solid pickups, very athletic. I'm fine with only 1 DL (Rankin) who could challenge for playing time right away. You have to keep in mind we only graduated two DL (Sirl, Moss)..... Kromah, Zaborsky, Octavius, Rivers and Coleman are all back next year. Also have 300+ pounds DT Ricky Hagood who redshirted last year. I expect big things from Rivers if he adds weight and muscle. Overall, I would give the class a B-. Not flashy, but adds depth and needs we had to have.

Big game tomorrow at home vs the Vikings. Hoping for a big crowd, but I doubt it. Especially with the up and down play of the team so far. KP has to get some help tomorrow for any chance to win. That means Weber and Kam knocking down 3's. I'm guessing it's gonna be a high scoring game. We need this W especially at home. Go Guins!

Give Coach Barnes and the team credit as they go 2-0 on the road against Valpo and UIC in conference play!!! 2 good wins.... Schlegel has really turned into a go-to scorer for us. Good to see them winning

85-69 Final..... Again horrible defense. KP was nowhere to be found?!? Giving up 70+ points again. Bobby was our leading scorer with 18 and 12 of them were from the FT line!!! Hmmmm
