NDSU not impressive at all. I expected a lot more out of their O-line, they appear very very average.
easily the worst game of the year for NDSU. we always have 1 dud at home a year. there will be adjustments.

YSU did a good job when he threw the ball (11-20 for 113), and the D contained their rb's (29 for 108, 3.7 per), but Stick killed the Guins with his feet (11 for 172). 172 yards rushing for a QB that came into the game with 92 yards on the season. If YSU had a LB or defensive back "spying" him, they didn't do their job, and if they weren't using a "spy" they should have been.
WELL Stick didn't have to scramble at all the first 5 games to be honest, maybe YSU relied too much on scouting 2017 instead of 2016? just a thought.

NDSU Defense has been on fire (yea cupcakes mostly, but still)
plays yards ypp Td's yards per game
1 North Dakota St. 5 251 795 3.17 3 159.0
2 Illinois St. 5 303 1097 3.64 9 219.4
3 James Madison 5 321 1156 3.60 7 231.2
NDSU with 3 td's allowed and 159 yards per game far and away crushes the fcs.
NDSU has their All American MLB Nic Deluca back,,, NG Nick Tanguay as well.
Maybe that's why BO is desperately trying to get hunter wells back, to add a wrinkle in the QB run game?

im quite surprised at how quiet this week has gone. I figured people would be amp'ed up. kinda wishing you guys wouldve beat USD, then it wouldve been a bigger game!
