YSU vs Kent State B-ball
« on: November 16, 2014, 08:44:03 AM »
The 4 guard offense cannot go 2 of 18 and from three and shoot 50% from the line.    Not sure of what kind of team we have but they sure scrapped last night.   Hain HAS to stay on the floor. Bobby really looked confident and Amiker looks like he's ready to lead.  Hopefully the others can step up.

I was more concerned by the missed open shots and poor free throwing shooting. Good coaching can improve these aspects of the game, but we all know that we don't have good coaching. I'm not going to criticize Bobby--we are outmanned inside and will be all year. He has a tough job.

The energy and speed of this team surprised me. Yes, Amiker really stepped up last night. Played like a D-I player and not like a high school kid.

I don't follow basketball or any other sports.   I am just not interested.   That being said did we win?

Kinda hard to win when your starting 5 only has 2 guys over 6-5.....
