Well we were down 1-0.
Went up 3-1.
Tied 3-3.
Had bases loaded with 1-out and failed to score.
Down 4-3 in the 5th.

Xavier loaded the bases in the 6th, and cleared them. 8-4 bad guys.

Our YSU baseball team pitching is Dreadful! Coach is trying all of them, but only two have been effective. On the other hand the girls softball team has been holding their own.

Yes, I am not so certain I might not stick with the rotation and leave it alone. Granted, this is single game series, so it does not matter, but we have a 4-game set this weekend, over 3 days. We need to find a 4th starter, or rest up. I know we are young, but still ...nothing is going right. Three things:

1. We have no real hitting until today. Even with 15 hits, we failed to produce an HR, or a triple. I can count the number of doubles and triple on one hand so far this year. So we have no run support. This is college, supposed to be lots a hits, aluminum bats, lots of distance.

2. Pitching is our strongest suit, and you just said how bad it is.

3. Fielding. Every opponent we play gets an almost equal number of runs-to-hits ratio. For example, today Xavier scored 14 runs on 15-hits. Now pitching has much to do with this, but not all.

Just what is working? I like your answer best ...softball.

The weekend is a good test. We are playing three very different teams. Theoretically:

Niagara should be a win. UT is very close to us, but a team we should normally beat. Pitt is having issues so far this year, and I am hoping to be competitive.
