Bison lose on the road the other North Dakota school playing James Madison.  Delaware is winning at Jacksonville St.

I have not checked this but I think this is correct.  The all-time road record for NDSU in the FCS playoffs now stands at this: zero wins and two losses.  All of their success has come at home or at the neutral championship site.  If you are looking for solace as we endure this painful rebuild, consider this.  YSU is the best road playoff team in FCS history.  It is not even close.

That is because we were "road warriors". I used to be scared when we played at home LOL Something else, we thrived under pressure. I cannot recall a major win that we did not complete a 4th-down play, or a "3rd down and forever" completion. Finally, we had DEFENSE. We knew we were going to have at least one score off \of a turn-over every game.

So the league is down to just one team and I understand that 2 lost to other league schools, but the two ND losses expose our league as more normal then some would like to think.

Nice to see Monty still doing well.

Disagree with league being more normal.  4-1 in opening round.  Had there been a fall season then NDSU rolls through the playoffs.  With Trey Lance no one beats them.  Lost in the final minute of play yesterday with very average QB play.  They also had a lineman drafted who would have played in the fall.

SDSU likely headed to title game, how is the league considered normal?  YSU wins 3-4 games in other conferences.

Playoffs this year are a joke.  Holy Cross plays 3 games and gets in.

James Madison really collapsed today. So it is hard to say just how good Sam Houston State is. They rank very low statistically in so many categories. And nobody really knew anything about Delaware this year so again I’m not so sure how good SDSU is.It will be a couple of unknowns next weekend

Do you know despite three interceptions (two of which I feel we’re not his fault) I really like their quarterback for James Madison he throws accurate long balls. His receivers never need to break stride
