Penguins Defeat Patron Regulators, 79-76, Behind Hain's Double-Double

Along with Hain, four other Penguins scored in double figures, including junior Matt Donlan with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, sophomores Cameron Morse and Francisco Santiago each scored 12 points while freshman Jordan Andrews added 10 points.

The Penguins, who led for nearly 38 minutes, shot 37 percent from the field, but held a 57-56 advantage in the rebounding margin and had 14 second-chance points compared to eight for Patron.

The Penguins' bench also outscored Patron, 21-14.

The Penguins play the CTG Knights, Monday at 9 p.m.

I am not impressed with that win. We had 4 players foul out, many turnovers and terrible foul shooting. Bobby Hain did play well, but I believe we have a long, long way to go. This is a good experience for the new recruits.

Freshman Jordan Andrews scored 23 points and knocked down seven 3-pointers as the Youngstown State men's basketball team defeated the Real Deal Shockers, 101-69, on Tuesday evening at Kendall Isaacs Gym.
