Penguins Fall in Dual Match at West Virginia

Brendel rallied after dropping her first set 7-5 to Lyn Yuen Choo to take the second set 6-3 and third set 13-11. At No. 2, Dominika Lackova won her first set, 6-4, against Hailey Barrett, before losing 6-4, 10-4.
WVU (4-1) took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. The Penguins dropped to 5-4 with the defeat.
YSU returns to action next Friday when it plays host to Toledo at the Boardman Tennis Center. The dual is set to start at 7 p.m.
