Toledo Knocks Off Soccer, 1-0, at Farmers National Bank Field Inaugural Game
Youngstown, Ohio -- The Youngstown State women's soccer team dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to Toledo Friday afternoon in the inaugural game at Farmers National Bank Field.

The Penguins fall to 1-2 overall while the Rockets improve to 1-2.

After applying pressure on the Rockets' side of the field early in the game, the momentum quickly shifted in favor of Toledo.

Just 13:26 into the match, Toledo's Rachel MacLeod slipped past the Penguins defenders, grabbed the loss ball and zipped a shot into the bottom-right corner of the net for the game's only score.

The Penguins were never able to mount much of an offensive attack, totaling just three shots and one shot on goal.

Junior goalkeeper Jackie Podolsky recorded seven saves in the losing effort.

The Penguins are back in action against Buffalo, Sunday, at Noon in Buffalo, N.Y.
