Hackos, Kenski Goals Lift Soccer Past IPFW, 2-1

With win, the Penguins improve to 3-4 on the season while the Mastodons fall to 0-7.
In the 12th minute, sophomore Kyler Lum fed Hackos in the penalty box and the forward from York, Pa., drilled a shot into the lower left corner of the goal for her first career goal.
IPFW's Andie Lazzaerini knotted the match at 1-1 at the 23:39 mark. Kallianne Mogler crossed a pass from the left side into the box and Lazzerini lifted a shot over the out-stretched arms of Elizabeth Balgoyen.
Less the six minutes later, Kenski scored the game-winner off a cross from Allison Green in the lower-left corner. Kenski corralled the ball on the right side of the net and slipped a shot past a diving Haley Lydon.
The Penguins controlled possession most of the match and hammered a total of 16 shots and had six shots on goal. IPFW managed nine shots and three attempts on goal.
Lum and Hackos each led the Penguins with four shots while Hackos had three shots on goal.
Balgoyen was solid in the net again tallying two saves in 90 minutes.
The Penguins host Findlay, Sunday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m.
