Women's Soccer Falls to Kent State, 3-0

The Penguins fall to 1-7-1 overall and Kent State improves to 5-3.
The Golden Flashes set the tempo early in the game with their first shot just 19 seconds into the match. They had three shots in the first have minutes, and Jenna Hellstrom scored off Stephanie Haugh's cornerkick at the 6:07 mark.
Kent State, who took 10 shots in the first half, pushed its lead to 2-0 when Jessacca Girondi scored on a penalty kick in the 38th minute
The Flashes took a 3-0 lead when Morgan Mah scored an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute.
YSU goalkeeper posted six saves in the loss.
The Penguins return home to host Cedarville, Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. at Farmers National Bank Field.
