Head Coach Nate Miklos said he was pleased that YSU finished in front of the Horizon League schools at the event. YSU placed ahead of Oakland, Detroit, Valparaiso and Green Bay in two-round tournament.
"We played some good golf this weekend and continue to make progress," Miklos said. "I feel very good about where we are right now, but still have some areas we need to improve heading into conference in three weeks. Aislynn did a great job staying patient today and really stepped up at the end of her round to get the win."
The Penguins are next in action at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational hosted by Bowling Green on April 11-12.
