Penguins Prep For HL Championships At Ashland Alumni Open

At the Penn Relays on Saturday, Zallow was third in the 110m hurdle race with a time of 13.84 seconds. Winning the event was Ronald Levy with a time of 13.33 seconds while Syracuse's Freddie Crittenden III was second at 13.44 seconds.
At the Ashland Alumni Open, three Penguins won events - Nicolette Kreatsoulas (hammer throw), Suzanne Koziol (steeplechase) and Chandler Killins (long jump).
Koziol won the steeplechase with a time of 11:27.68 while Libby Rogenski was fourth with a time of 12:25.38. Kreatsoulas won the hammer throw with a toss of 52.12m. Killins won the long jump with a leap of 5.10m. In the 4x400m relay, YSU had a winning time of 3:51.46.
Other top finishes for the Penguins included:
Ryan Booth who was third in the shot put with a throw of 17.69m. He had a throw of 47.17m in the discus.
Jaynee Corbett was second in the hammer with a heave of 51.43m. In the discus, Corbett had a throw of 43.79m and the shot put had a distance of 15.40m.
Mike Dahmen ran a time of 10:20.84 in the steeplechase. In the 1,500m, James Nedrich ran a time of 4:03.94.
Dom Westbay had a throw of 46.62m in the hammer throw in the shot put had a toss of 16.30m.
Michelle Klim had a time of 4:48.81 in the 1,500m run.
