Jarrett Wins 200M to Spearhead Strong Performances at Sea Ray Relays

Jarrett won the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.78 in the finals on Saturday. She was by far the top finisher with SE Missouri State's Jerika Lewis placing second at 24.11 seconds. On Friday, Jarrett qualified with the fifth-best time (24.04 seconds). Grambling just missed making the final eight posting a time of 24.25 seconds.
Nina Grambling had a time of 11.80 in the finals of the 100-meter dash to finish third behind Tennessee's Kia Jackson and Kennesaw State's Alicia Whittle. On Friday, Grambling qualified fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.49 seconds.
Also in the 4x100-meter relay, YSU was fourth with a time of 46.15 seconds as Nicole Pachol, Jarrett, Alexis Washington and Jarrett ran for the Penguins.
Grambling also placed in the fifth in the long jump with a leap of 5.76 meters and Jarrett was 10th at 5.36 meters.
Pachol was fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.45.
Ashley Wagner was fifth in the high jump clearing a height of 1.60 meters.
Brittany Stockmaster had a time of 11:42.57 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Wesner had a throw of of 40.86 in the discus to finish fifth while Jennifer Neider had a throw of 40.73 meters to finish sixth.
In the 100-meter dash, Michael Davis had a time of 10.63 seconds to finish 13th while Tarelle Irwin had a time of 10.93 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Davis clocked in at 21.50 seconds while Irwin came in 23rd with a time of 21.74 seconds.
Dorian Davis was seventh in the triple jump at 14.58 meters and John Seaver was ninth in the discus with a toss of 40.68 meters.
On Thursday, Megan Wesner opened the meet by placing 13th in the hammer throw with a toss of 47.40 meters.
