Jennifer Neider, Ciara Jarrett Earn Horizon League Weekly Honors

Jarrett put together strong performances in three events at the YSU National Invitational, including her second consecutive win in the 200m, beating out a field of 32 with her 24.71 seconds finish.
She also posted a time of 7.67 seconds in the 60m dash to place second in a field of 26 and helped the 4x400m relay team set a new school record with a 3:48.88 finish. Off the track, Jarrett finished 12th out of 24 in the long jump with a 4.80m distance.
Neider picked up a personal best last weekend, taking first place out of 24 competitors in the shot put with a 14.14m toss at the YSU National Invitational, winning the event by .81m over the runner-up. She also took 18th place in the weight throw with an 11.39m distance.
The Penguins return to action next weekend at the SPIRE Invitational in Geneva, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday.
