Loretto, Pa. - The Youngstown State swimming and diving team dropped a 151-106 dual meet on Saturday afternoon to Saint Francis (Pa.) at the Stokes Center. Jana Janson and Ashley Dow each had individual wins for the Penguins.
Dow won three events placing first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.01 seconds, the 200 back at 2:08.92 and the 200 IM 2:14.89.
Janson finished first in the 100 free at 54.61 seconds and placed second in the 50-yard free 25.02 seconds.
Megan Ciampa finished second in the 200-yard freestyle 1:59.87 and was also second in the 500 free at 5:24.05.
Laura Paz came in second in the 200-yard butterfly at 2:14.58 while placing second in the 100 butterfly at 59.71 seconds.
The Penguins return to action on Jan. 26 when they compete at the Butler Invitational.
