Basketball Holds Annual Media Day

The event began with an opening statement from Slocum followed by coaching staff and player introductions. Slocum discussed the how beneficial the Penguins' foreign trip to the Bahamas and their 10 days of practice leading up to the trip were for the program. He also touched on the excitement surrounding the Horizon League new men's basketball tournament venue - Joe Louis Arena in Detroit - and the new format. After a Q and A session with Slocum, several members of the team held one-on-one interviews with the local media. The Penguins open the 2015-16 season at Kent State on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. The Penguins' home opener is against Toledo, Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. |
