YSU Basketball Teams to Host Exhibition Games on Saturday

The Youngstown State men's and women's basketball teams will give Penguins fans a sneak peek of the 2016-17 season when they host exhibition games on Saturday at Beeghly Center. Both games will be free and open to the public.

The women's team will begin the day by hosting Clarion at 11 a.m., and the men's team will square off against Penn State-Behrend at 1:30 p.m.

The women's basketball team will begin its season on Friday, Nov. 11, when it hosts American at 7 p.m. at Beeghly Center. The men's team will host Akron in its season opener in the Northeast Ohio Coaches vs. Cancer Doubleheader, Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7:45 p.m.

Season and individual game tickets are on sale at the YSU Athletics Ticket Office at Stambaugh Stadium. Tickets can also be ordered by calling (330) 941-1YSU.
