You know, as bad as the baseball team is playing ...is in direct opposition to how well the lady Pens are playing.

15-6, with 129 runs. averaging .77 home runs per contest.

I am still not convinced that the pitchers will hold up against the better teams in the Horizon League.  But this is indeed a welcomed start to the season.  It was a shame they gave away one game to an unimpressive Butler team on Saturday with physical and mental errors.  But they did manage to win the next two.

The pitching may not be as good as the top Div 1 teams, but it should be strong enough for the Horizon. Maybe we can win the Horizon and play some of the big time teams. One thing for sure, aleast they are competitive. The baseball team has virtually no pitching and the only top player is out, they need a big change!!  >:(
