We're not ranked again
« on: October 31, 2011, 04:41:40 PM »
I thought we would be ranked because we beat Illinois State and they are ranked.  I also thought that they would notice how we are improving defensively each week.  I also thought that we would get ranked going into UNI, but this is probably the best case scenario.

I hope YSU plays with a chip on thier shoulder.  Winning this game  should bring the fans back to Y-town.  People that watch HS football over college ball are idiots.  I can't stand it, never could and hate it.  I hate HS football.  It sucks.

We should be ranked over the South Dakota Coyotes

I agree with you, but remember, they have to "spread the wealth" You will generally find they rank the teams based on conference as well. As usual, ANY CAA/A-10/Yankee team with less that 4 losses is going. I mean, that FCS huddle "just" admitted that Eastern Washington is not going to make the post season. I mean they lost their first 4-games ...they were out of the post-season after week-4. All they are doing is selecting the teams they think will make the play-off. There is no attention to performance in any way.

I agree we are under rated, and hope that it will help us get overlooked by uni-p this week.  However, we know the simple rules of the game.  Win your conference and you are in.

Youngstown State is ranked #25 in the FCS Now Poll; maybe is is a good thing not being ranked in the Coaches Poll. ;)
