Happy to see Phil Klein win one of those tight pitching games. Congratulations Phil and the YSU baseball team.

YSU Penguin Athletics / Baseball vs. UWM in-game

Phil Klein has pitched very good since his first game, unfortunately YSU has no or little hitting. Someone has too help him out!! He is always pitching against the ace of the other team.

Coach Dom was truly a class act!!He was a gem for Youngstown University and YSU.

I still remember him coming to the basketball games when is was gray and weak, but he would always say hello. Dom was a caring and giving person.

A great tribute for Dom and his family!!  :)

Wow!! What an incredible run by Butler; GO BUTLER!!  Beat UCONN

What a feather in the hat for the Horizon League, not to mention the extra money for the League.

The team should not have to practice in that enviroment, that's why the WATTS center was constructed. Due to an inept construction management crew the WATTS center was not completed on time. Maybe by next spring training the team will have a fine facility to practice in.

This allows for less injuries, to run correct routes for each play and allows the proper timing to be accurately accessed.

Yes, we may have to play games in this type of weather, but spring practice is not game.

Our YSU baseball team pitching is Dreadful! Coach is trying all of them, but only two have been effective. On the other hand the girls softball team has been holding their own.

Another super game by Brandi Brown! She was perfect from the foul line and the team was 17 for 17 from the foul line. Maybe the girls should be coaching the men's team to shot fouls!! ::)

Just looking at the webcam every now and then, the progress on the roof has been extremely slow. It's been 2 months and they still haven't completed it! There has been very little on the sides finished, I don't believe they will complete the WATTS center on the expected time (early 2011)!! It probably won't get completed to June. They sure don't have too many workers working on the project.>:(

I am happy that there is some work at the future WATTS site, I plan to be in the Youngstown nieghborhood during the July 4th weekend. I'll stop over at the campus to see the latest changes.

I am looking forward to the 2010 football season.

Go Penguins!!

What is happening at the WATTS Center?

There seems to be no news about it on any web sites. Are they actually digging or is everything at a halt.

The Williamson webcam has been down for over a month! I have called Ron Cole, but to no avail.

Maybe someone up in Youngstown can get the Williamson webcam back up and also one at the WATTS site.
