Jim Tressel, is what YSU and our community needs, he has the respect of politicians, players, the wealthy and will get things done.  The haters will bring up the bullsh** on he lied this and that, listen to the ESPN mudslinging and that idiot Bertram on the Vindy.  The people in football in the know, KNOW who and what JT was and how he treated people.  He took his punishment, never complained.  He didnt run like Carroll did from USC.  JT never has to work again, what does that say about the man.  I say great job trustees and Welcome home, Coach.

Davis is probably the best QB on the Roster.   But from what I heard the guy to hang the hat on will be The Frosh from Fairless.  I know our talent advisor pally says otherwise.  We have a team of RB's and If it wasnt for the schedule we are a 3 or 4 win team.  Too many holes and our D ...still hasnt shown they can step up with what is recruited.  Very Concerned

I reviewed our roster today..read every players bio...looked at what we have returning?   What was clearly evident was how bad our Defense is and for being an undersized D...they didnt play very fast....200lb LB 's are nt going to cut it in D 1 football unless we have the Clydesdales in the trenches...we got manhandled by the Dakota's...I am concerned about the offense as well ..nothing scares me at WR..I think Nate Adams is our best option...there but who else?   I see at most a 6 win season...that is counting the 3 bullsh** games we have in September....am I hitting the panic button too soon....I just dont see us closing the gap...to being a top dog in the conference.

I am not amored with Slocum. That being said that guy gets alot bang for the buck.  We are on the bottom in the HL for monies allocated to the Mens team.  Pre Slocum we were a laughing stock of the league...no need to mention that coach.  The only decent mebs coach the last 20 yrs was Peters.  Slocum is not the best game coach,  but that being said he has brought us to being respectable where nobody can just pencil a W when they play us.  With him Slowly building a program to a middle of the pack program it will be more attractive to hire a young gun now than 10 years ago.  Be careful for what you wish for.  AS for Strollo, look at the improvements to the facilities.   We are slowly becoming a place that kids really have to consider in the non-football sports...

I have to trust that Coach Montgomery knows what QB can play in his system, Did he not coach..Charlie Frye and Big Ben.  The kid dominated in his divison.  As for the classless Panther player...this Qb beat your school for the first time in 28 years.  So if he stunk..what does that say about you....it comes down to how hard this kid works and he already has shown his meddle by helping and turning a mediocre football program around. Pally isnt always right ....on this one I have a hunch he is wrong...just because a kid is a small school or non parochial school athlete doesnt mean he cant compete.   YSU had a guy named Brungard....the rest is history.

Heacock is a nice guy, and a great assistant coach and a good coordinator.   As a head coach average to poor.  If Mason hadnt shown up..doubt we would have made playoffs.  If he was such a great head coach why hasnt any major schools offered him.  But I am happy for him..and I hope he does well..

kid got booted after an arrest for having drugs if I remember I think the arrest was Austintown.  Peterman was with him at the time Its a sad story.  I hope he recovers..

The National Anthem should not be disrespected in any shape or form.  Its the National Anthem, not a song about Bison or anything else. If you want to honor your school or State use a different song. Yes you have a great football team, but if this is how you sing the anthem in your Stadium  Shame on you and the powers to be that let that continue.
