Title: Illinois State Quits in the middle of the season!

Illinois State just canceled the rest of their season with four games remaining.  This has nothing to do with Covid. Their coach just stated that he has too many injuries and must prevent more to be competitive in the fall. This travesty is much worse than what Indiana State did. This demands disciplinary action from the MVFC offices. You can not brag about being the elite FCS conference and let stuff like this happen.

its absolute bullcrap

NDSU fans are absolutely destroying them on twitter/facebook/message boards.  its a bad look and its gonna hurt illinois state bigtime.

the MVFC should be strict with this.   heck, they could even move around some games to get everyone 8 games if they want

Not sure how many injuries are "to many" for Ill ST but right or wrong they did make a commitment to field a team for the spring. One big upside for YSU playing this spring is obvious, look at how the offense is jelling. Should make fall ball much better.
