I actually went to the 2012 NCAA Women's National Bowling Championship in Wickliffe, OH (CLE east side suburb, I live close by).  Was kind of fun, but very long.  Ended up bolting after 3+ hours, but watched the end on ESPNU.

Only problem was, NCAA is sponsored by Coke, but the bowling alley served Pepsi products, so couldn't bring any soft drinks into the tournament seating area.

That said, good luck to the YSU Women's Bowling team.

What position?  I presume defensive back.  And since when does NDSU recruit from Ohio?

We made the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.  Unseaded, and made it to the championship game, after defeating the #3 and then the #2 seaded teams on the road.

Yes, we played poorly today, but it was a very fun road to get there, and we got two exciting playoff games at home.  And YSU football is back on the map.  Congrats to JMU, and at the same time congrats to YSU on getting to the championship game.

This is a complete debacle for the fans, especially the loyal fans.  We need a better marketing department.  We need people to attend the games.  This is really sad.  I know several people that cannot make the trip due to the cost of tickets and the cost of the flights now.  The bigwigs got the cheap tickets and the cheap flights.

I agree on the debacle, but how did the bigwigs get the cheap flights?

Somehow we are still in this.

Needless to say, that was a huge turn of events.

Gotta love when you go to a playoff game and only two concession stands are open...the next time the baseball team cries because of decreased funds I won't care and site this game as an example of their lazinessness
I know the crowd was small, and they staff based on pre-sale, but they easily could have used a third concession stand open.  I went to the concession stand at the 11 minute mark in the second quarter and didn't return until halftime.

That said, enjoyed the game.  Nice win by the Penguins.

So I call to buy tickets this morning, called at 9:30 am, and I get an automated "Ticket Office is closed" message.  Yes, I know I can buy online, but I wanted to get an aisle seat, and online they don't really let you choose your seat.  More like luck of the draw.

I thought we fought hard.  And loved the red pants making a comeback on the road unis.  First time in five years we have worn red pants.

I am guessing from the looks of it, they are going to put / paint the 'Y' logo in the middle.  The 'stained' Pete will be in the background.

YSU Penguin Athletics / YSU vs.CSU at The Q

Anyone going tomorrow to the YSU - CSU game?  I got company loge tickets at The Q for the game.  Both teams are 2 - 5 in the conference, and have the same overall record.  So perhaps we may actually win.

Actually pretty entertaining first half and end of game.  Met / talked to Ron Strollo at the hotel before the game.  He was very friendly.

After losing by 59 points at _ichigan, me and my two sons  (the oldest a Ohio Srate student) are headed to South Bend tomorrow to see the YSU - ND men's basketball game.  Hopefully, a somewhat better game tomorrow!

Jon Heacock single handedly destroyed the YSU football program.   I challenge anyone to tell me any different.  Now the idiot is still trying to attack YSU football...  what an idiot

His knee was down while the ball was over the goal line.  And to overturn a call on the field based on that video evidence, I just don't get it.  As Sammorone just said, unless we have cameras like at FBS levels replay is very questionable at this level.
