Pretty quiet out there folks, any thoughts on the game?
-
This is probably the toughest four game stretch of games that we have ever played. Going back as far as the championship years, there were always one or two "easy" playoff games against teams from weak conferences. If we can just survive today, physically and psychologically, the path does get easier. I expect several wins in the second half of the season.
Thank goodness for this bizarre season. This rebuilding pain is absolutely necessary. Best to get the worst of it over right now in this ridiculous winter season.

O-line was improved lasted week, looking to see if that continues. It has been a rough 4 game stretch to start the season, interested to see the attitude of the players.

I am watching on ESPN+..... go Penguins....

That was just too easy....no pressure on the QB

Cannot give up another 7 on this drive
-
Nice drive

Needed that one. How could this kid be a d-2 player for 2 years.
-
Nice hole, he is quick

Because he’s 5-9 and not 5-11 I’m guessing. Lots of talented players slip to d2 and d3 every year because they don’t meet the size standards.
Regardless I’m very excited he ended up as a penguin!

Another nice stop on defense! Really tightened up since the first drive.
-
Agree, nice tackle by 34
-
Need to cut down on penalties.

Yeah the whole team seems to be making some nice open field tackles, I like what I see.

Need to cut down on penalties.
They really dictated that drive
-
Ugly punt great result
-
Need to throw the ball away
-
The offensive play calling is terrible.
-
These flags are really hurting us play calling does not help
-
Wow, didn’t see that one coming.....way to go
-
Darn, had a chance... nearly had the INT to ice the game
-
We are getting better,
-
So close but yet so far

Defense played in a high level. To bad we could not recover the fumble or intercept the tipped ball at their last drive.
-
We had our chances! Had the lead and the ball with about 5 minutes left and couldn't get a first down. Then their qb fumbles and we have 3 guys there and kick it out of bounds. Then on a tipped ball could have had the interception. Any of those things and we get the win most likely. But it was a great performance by a group of players who were in many ways outmatched. Their O line and D line mostly dominated us physically. Their qb had time; ours did not. They had big holes to run through and we had small seams at best. Our receivers had no separation and theirs at times had space. We played hard and smart for the most part. Coach is making progress while being undermanned. Future is bright if we can bring in some players for fall and get time for our qb to throw the ball. Hope we can get a few wins going into summer so the attitude can be very positive for progress and growth for the future. It should help recruiting also. There is hope!

Get some receivers. Juco if you have to.
