Give me a break, ESPN, SEC, Auburn, Alabama, he is a nice guy, he is a good coach, he did not commit a crime, he is not a saint, he made a bad decision, he broke a rule, he lied, he is a big boy, he will pay the price, life will go on.

Pita,

Please understand that some of us just do not care about Ohio State, and the troubles that Tressel is enduring have no interest for us.  I certainly appreciate what the man did for us for fifteen years, but it should be obvious that Tressel will not survive this.  He was doomed from the moment that he notified the quarterback's "handler" about the allegations instead of his AD or president.

Really...i guess you have a problem with the new indoor complex that he gave what a couple a million...we will have him take it back...and you can pick up the slack!!!! oh you can't!!!  JT will always be a part of our football legacy and unfortnately some of the haters can't understand that!!!

Wick is correct, some people,(more then I would have thought) just do not care about JT anymore. Note that Wick did not say that he hates JT. Heck I do not hate JT, just do not care about him or osu. He was here he did well he moved on, so be it.

About the indoor complex, last I heard he did not donate a couple of million, thought that he was in for 500,000 and his inlaws for another 500,000. For sure that was very nice of him and certainly most of us could not afford to do the same so what's the point?

I don't see us playing Kent or Akron in football ever again - unless - something very drastic happens to our program or theirs. Talking someone changing divisions!

They do not have the money to pay us big bucks and I just do not see a recruit coming to YSU because they may get a chance to play either one of them, yea yea. Penn St, Ohio St, Mich St are worth getting pumped up about, not some low end MAC schools.

I am talking about Kent or Akron in addition to a 'money game'. With the expansion, the conference will only require we play 8 conference teams each season. This leaves 3 open games (four games every 4th year).

1. money
2. rival
3. warm-up.

We need one more team in the MVFC.
Why are you two hijacking the basketball thread talking about football schedules?

Looked back and saw the segue - no harm no foul - back to BB.

The mac has been and always will be a wannabe 1A conference.

Wow, they will be playing their "home" games in Foxboro! That is like 95 miles and better part of a 2 hour drive, yea yea their stadium is not big enough yet, but really?

I can't believe he stayed at Pitt last year....the writing was on the wall with Lewis and Graham...

His brother was a freshman at Pitt last year, I assume that played onto it.

Gas prices are going nuts - hardly a peep from the mainstream press - maybe BO is a secret oilman like that darn Bush

BO get us involved this Libya thing - yep more money going down the drain - hardly a peep from the mainstream press

For every dollar we spend - 40 cents is borrowed - hardly a peep from the mainstream press

Guess that our coaches feel that we are set at RB (heck maybe we are) Article in the NC News reports that former Wilmington star and teammate of Carson Sharbaugh, Chris Burns is leaving Pitt for UMass. Will be a redshirt Junior. Delaware, James Madison, William & Mary, Slippery Rock, Old Dominion, Appalachian State and Georgia State also were interested.

Watched him in HS and thought that he could make an impact at our level and was surprised that he stayed at Pitt last year after two really good true freshmen beat him out his redshirt freshman season.

ps - I hate how the News breaks down stories so that you have to click to 4-5 pages to read what should be on one.

Heck, how about making it 201, I'm looking!!!

If East can keep the parochials from raiding all the talent in Youngstown City ...they could have some great teams!!!

Yep, state caliber teams.

Look for Fitch to get stronger and stronger in all sports.  Kids will be forming a line for the open enrollment option there.

Good point

Wow!! What an incredible run by Butler; GO BUTLER!!  Beat UCONN

What a feather in the hat for the Horizon League, not to mention the extra money for the League.

I agree
