Post by: Wick250 on January 27, 2024, 10:15:37 AM: Given the financial realities of modern college football, our only reasonable option will be to hire an ambitious, successful defensive coach from D2 or even D3. A guy that wants to test his abilities at the highest level of FCS football and also get a pay raise. The last thing that we need is a retread who failed in DI and is just looking for any job. Also an internal promotion would seem insane given how awful our defense was.

This is where I disagree Go, it would appear to me that losing the special teams coordinator is a big loss. Special teams have been improving the last few years and was REALLY good last year.
