I have to admit that the Jambar has dramatically improved their sports coverage. The articles are tight and relevant. Stories are more that just rehash of pressers. Look at the great article on bookstore sales during September. An example of some very nice work. This is the best they have been in decades. I would like to get to the point where YSU has two papers ...like most colleges. One is the on-campus paper and the other is the "off-campus" paper. On campus covers things from a more youthful perspective; the other is more adult-oriented and appeals to locals and alumni.
Anyway ...three cheers to the Jambar!
