It’s officially Football Season

<< < (2/9) > >>

YsuPride:
He may.  Does anyone in the know explain this??

Wick250:
This is certainly not official, but here is how King might have got that extra year.

He played at Northern Michigan in 2019, 2021, and 2022. (Remember no football below the FCS level in the Covid year.) He earned league honors at NMU as a freshman in 2019, but only played in four games in 2021. Was he able to receive a medical redshirt for that? Pure speculation on my part. We should just be very glad that he is back as it will relieve some pressure on the new quarterback.

YsuPride:
Wick I believe you make sense in your analysis  of King .  What it means is we got a bevy of tailbacks but not a capable QB.   Brungard is not the answer and Shannon who transfered into the program will be rusty to say the least.   We need a qb bad.

IAA Fan:
If he only played in four games specially if they were the first four games of the season, he could play almost every down and get that game back. Sounds like he had some coaches that knew what they were doing.

It is almost spring practices time. Does anyone know when NCAA will make determinations on the eligibility of players? Logically, shouldn’t that decision be made before starting of spring practices?
