Patteson Named to Canadian National Team |

Youngstown, Ohio -- Youngstown State senior Tiffany Patteson was named to the Canadian National Team for the Pacific Rim Championships, June 6-13, in Chula Vista, Calif., Head Coach Christy Cameron announced on Monday. Patteson, a three-time All-Horizon League selection, played for Team Canada last October at the World University Softball Championships at the ISF Headquarters in Plant City, Fla. Last summer, Patteson was named to the Canadian Olympic Developmental Team and competed at the 2004 Canada Cup. Patteson was also named to the Canadian National Softball Team and selected to represent her country at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Patteson owns a career batting average of .340 with 42 doubles, 15 triples, seven home runs and 70 runs batted in. She holds the school records for most triples and runs scored while she ranks second with in batting average, doubles and slugging percentage (.526). |
