| The Youngstown State Athletic ticket office is accepting season-ticket renewals and new applications for the upcoming 2007-08 men’s and women’s basketball campaigns. A men’s package for all 13 home games is available for $120 while a women’s package for 12 games is also available for $120. The best value is a “Penguin Package” Full Season-Ticket Reserved seat for $150. That includes tickets to all 25 home contests. During the upcoming season, the men and women play eight doubleheaders. Of those, four are on Saturdays while the other four are midweek tilts. The men’s non-conference schedule features Kent State, Robert Morris, Slippery Rock and Lock Haven. The Horizon League portion of the schedule features NCAA Tournament participants Butler and Wright State along with former Mid-Con rival Valparaiso who visits Beeghly on Jan. 17. The women’s non-league slate features contests against three Mid-American Conference foes, Central Michigan, Toledo and Miami (Ohio). The men’s first home game is against Lock Haven on Friday, Nov. 16, while the women’s first home game is set for Thursday, Nov. 29 against Toledo. |
