Penguins Set to Open Season Against Dayton Tonight
The No. 24-ranked Youngstown State football team opens its 73rd season on Thursday, Aug. 29, playing host to Dayton at Stambaugh Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. It is the first meeting between the Flyers and Penguins since 1977. Cleveland Browns sign Jamaine Cook to help running back depth
The Browns re-signed Cook on Sunday to help fill a hole created by injuries to Dion Lewis and Montario Hardesty. Defensive back Kenronte Walker was waived to create a roster spot for Cook, who was cut by the Browns on May 21. “It feels good to be back,” Cook said. “I’ve been training and working hard all summer.
