North Dakota State edges Youngstown State 27-24
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -- Easton Stick's 4-yard touchdown run with 35 seconds left capped a 17-point comeback and lifted North Dakota State to a 27-24 win over Youngstown State on Saturday.

A disputed pass interference call set up Stick's touchdown. It set off a firestorm of protests, resulting in a series of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties against Penguins coach Bo Pelini and the Youngstown State bench.

C.J. Smith's interception as time ran out sealed the comeback win for North Dakota State (8-2, 6-1 Missouri Valley), which trailed 24-10 heading into the fourth quarter.

Stick threw for 176 yards and ran in an earlier TD as well, King Frazier had 7-yard scoring run and Cam Pedersen hit two field goals.

Jody Webb piled up 132 yards with five carries, including two touchdowns, for Youngstown State (5-5, 3-4), Ricky Davis had a 13-yard TD run and Zak Kennedy hit a 44-yard field goal.
