Thanks to the hard work of Youngstown State fans, Pete the Penguin knocked off Reggie, the official mascot of the Illinois State Redbirds, 593-250, on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley Football Conference's #MVFCMascotMadness. Pete now clashes with Thundar from North Dakota State Today.

Pete will take on Thundar today starting at 10 a.m. Eastern time in the semifinals. The polls are open until 5 p.m. Eastern time so YSU fans be sure to support Pete by clicking here now!.

The other bracket winners were Grey Dawg from South Dakota and TC from UNI who will also square off in the semis on Thursday. The finals are set for Friday.
