Penguins Defeat Patron Regulators, 79-76, Behind Hain's Double-Double
Nassau, Bahamas -- Senior Bobby Hain posted a double-double with 19 points and 20 rebounds and led the Youngstown State men's basketball team to a 79-76 win over the Patron Regulators on Sunday afternoon at the Kendall Isaac Gym.
Along with Hain, four other Penguins scored in double figures, including junior Matt Donlan with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, sophomores Cameron Morse and Francisco Santiago each scored 12 points while freshman Jordan Andrews added 10 points.
The Penguins, who led for nearly 38 minutes, shot 37 percent from the field, but held a 57-56 advantage in the rebounding margin and had 14 second-chance points compared to eight for Patron.
The Penguins' bench also outscored Patron, 21-14.
