#79 Jim Zdelar (May 24, 1966-Feb. 1, 1993)
Jim Zdelar was an outstanding two-year performer for the Penguins from 1987-88. He was named to the Ohio Valley Conference second-team in 1987 and was named the school's Big Mac Offensive Lineman of the Year. In 1988, Jim graded out over 85 percent in all 11 games, including over 90 percent four times, earning him first-team All-America honors by the Associated Press. The National Football League came after Zdelar in 1989, getting drafted in the seventh round by the Miami Dolphins.
