TONIGHT: Basketball Hosts Central Michigan in Ramada Bracketbuster on Senior Day
The Youngstown State men's basketball team will honors its two seniors when it hosts Central Michigan in the 2013 Ramada BracketBusters, Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Beeghly Center.
• Tipoff is set for 7:05 p.m., and the game can be heard on 570 WKBN-AM and iHeartRadio.
• The game can also be viewed on the Horizon League Network.

Last Time Out
• The Penguins dropped a disappointing 71-54 decision to Green Bay on Feb. 17 at the Beeghly Center.
• Freshman Bobby Hain scored  a team-high 14 points with eight rebounds and led three others reaching double figures.
• Junior Kendrick Perry scored 13 points and classmate Kamren Belin had 12 points.
• Senior Blake Allen added 11 points in the loss.

Up Next
• The Penguins return to league action when they visit Horizon League leader Valparaiso, Tuesday, Feb. 26.
• Tipoff is slated for 8:05 p.m. EDT at the Athletics-Recreation Center in Valparaiso, Ind.
• The game can be heard on 570 WKBN-AM and iHeartRadio.

The Central Michigan Series
• This is the sixth meeting between Youngstown State and Central Michigan in a series that dates back to 1985.
• The Chippewas own a 4-1 advantage in the all-time series after winning the first four contests.
• The Penguins own the last meeting, 74-50, in 2006 in East Lansing, Mich.
Scouting Central Michigan
• Central Michigan is 9-16 overall and 2-10 in Mid-American Conference play.
• The Chippewas are averaging 66.3 points per game and are just 1-9 in road games this season.
• Leading the Chippewas is Kyle Randall with 17.8 points per game.
• Randall is the only player averaging in double figures.
• Randall is also a native of Youngstown, Ohio.
• Blake Hibbetts is second on the team in scoring with 8.5 points per game.

• Improve YSU to 16-12 overall on the year.
• Mark the second straight season YSU has won at least 16 games.
• Mark YSU's second win over Central Michigan.

• Mark Head Coach Jerry Slocum's 671st career victory and his 90th at Youngstown State.

• Youngstown State owns a 4-5 record in bracketbuster games since its inception in 2003-04.
• The Penguins are 4-0 in games played at home and 0-5 in road contests.

Senior Day
• Youngstown State will honor its two seniors - Blake Allen and Damian Eargle - who are playing in their final regular-season home game at the Beeghly Center.
• Allen is the school's career record holder with 208 made 3-pointers and has 910 points.
• Eargle owns the career blocks record with 289 and has scored 979 career points at Youngstown State.

Back-to-Back 15
• The Penguins 94-80 win over Milwaukee on Feb. 15 marked their 15th win of the season.
• It also marks the first time since 1984 and 1985 that Youngstown State has won at least 15 games in consecutive seasons.
• The Penguins won 18 games in 1983-84 and 19 in 1984-85.

Perfect 10
• With a win over Central Michigan, the Penguins will mark their second straight year in which they won 10 games at home.
• Before 2011-12, the last time the Penguins won 10 home games was during the 2006-07 season.
