Soccer Falls to Oakland, 2-0

Rochester, Mich. -- The Youngstown State women's soccer team's season came to an end after a 2-0 loss to Horizon League foe Oakland on Friday evening.

The Penguins finish the season with an overall mark of 7-11 and a 2-7 record in the Horizon League. Oakland improves to 7-5-6 overall and 6-1-2 in the league.

Youngstown State's seven wins are tied for the second most in a single-season in school history.

Junior goalkeeper Katie Montgomery collected eight saves but allowed goals in the 28th and 48th minutes.

The Penguins were outshot, 19-5, and had just one shot on goal.
