Two Finish in Top Ten at Wildcat Invitational

Leading the way for the Penguins, who finished sixth out of 13 teams, was Mark Olbrych who placed sixth. Olbrych was sixth with a three-round total of 220 following rounds of 77 and 69 on Monday and a 74 on Tuesday.
Placing ninth was D.J. Holub who had a score of 225 with rounds of 74 and 76 on Monday and a 75 on Tuesday.
In the team race, the Penguins had a three-round total of 908. Highlighting their performance was a 299 during Monday's second round. YSU tallied a 304 in the opening round and closed out the event with a 305 today.
Winning the 54-hole tournament was Temple who came from behind to defeat Rhode Island by three shots. Temple had a 900 while Rhode Island was second with a 903 and Villanova was third at 905.
Other finishers for the Penguins were Bill Gaffney who tied for 26th with a 232 (75-80-77), Bryan Yeo placed 42nd with a 235 (78-76-81), Steven Sveda was also 42nd (78-81-76) and Trevor Jones was 54th carding a 238 (81-78-79).
